Margaretville United Methodist Church, Catskills, NY- hosted a Christmas Benefit Concert on December 15th, 2007. The concert showcased an array of musical talents from children to reknowned artists.
The free will offering concert raised money to support the core efforts of BASICS International. The concert was initiated by Peggy Dibenedetto; a member of the church who often visits Ghana and sponsors several children and projects in the country.
Job Description
Oversee activities of a transition program; for children who have never attended school but are passed the school age.Create Syllabus for teachers
Supervise and motivate teachers.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of twenty five girls living in a boarding house .
Implement and facilitate extra curriculum activities,that promote good moral and ethic principles for the girls. (Ie, cooking, etiquettes, Bible study, mentoring programs, etc.).

Required Skills or Experience
Computer skills (Proficient in Word and Excel)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of strong organizational skills
5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience of running a school and boarding house.
Must be available to live in.
